Doing What You Love

If there is any doubt that Joseph actually loves checking out kitchen and bath showrooms, the picture below should dispel it. Joseph, my wife Kat, and I went for tours of a few local San Diego showrooms, and Joseph and I were in hog heaven. Our first stop was at San Diego Kitchens and Baths. They have a very nice showroom complete with instructional facilities for cooking classes and such. The picture on the left is a bamboo bathroom done in amber bamboo plywood. Nice modern clean look, plus it’s environmentally friendly.
The picture at the top of the page is a spectacular kitchen at Kitchen Expo in La Jolla. Personally this is a “must see” showroom. We were told that this particular kitchen goes for about $250,000! Most of the doors and drawer fronts are curved, and the panels are done with bird’s eye maple veneer.
