Alpes Inox Stainless Steel Gas and Electric Stovetops

“Gonna Fly Now”
Every now and again you come across something that makes such imminent sense that you find yourself wondering why in the world no one ever thought of that before. I have an ice cream scoop that is shaped like an augur which makes it easy to dish up ice cream even when it’s frozen like a brick. And all of us, I suspect, have occasionally come across something like that. But I must say I never actually thought a major appliance like a stovetop would fall into that category. Until now.
Alpes Inox has come up with the most innovative stovetops that absolutely ever were. Let’s start with the material these stovetops are made from, namely stainless steel. Anyone who has ever scrubbed burnt whatever-the-heck-it-happened-to-be off the stove would surely vote for something like this, and especially this is so when you have one of those stovetops with paint that is really not much more than paint. And if the kids were the ones who burnt it, man, do you want a break when it comes time to clean that baby up.
But the other part of the excitement revolves around the stovetops themselves, because Alpes Inox has done things with them that I really didn’t think could be done, mostly, I suppose, because I would never in a million years come up with products like these. Let’s start with the product at the top of this blog.
It’s a stovetop that has been made from superior quality 19/10 nickel-chrome alloy stainless steel for durability and cooking hygiene, and it is available as either a gas or electric cooktop. But, as usual with the innovation that seem to run rampant in Europe, they have not stopped there. These ergonomic cooktops are available in many configurations and feature electronic ignition, thermoelectric safety and auto shut off. But probably the best part-certainly the part that caught my eye-is the fact that when you want to clean up the kitchen mess, you can actually lift up the stovetop and clean underneath it. Now, what could be slicker than that! Well, quite a bit, actually.
In addition to solving cleanup problems with the latest line of cooktops, Alpes Inox has also solved one of the biggest problems in kitchens, namely the blind corner cabinet corner where all people seem to be able to do is install cabinets with a largely inaccessible end cabinet in the corner that only the very young can access, a fact I know first hand.
I haven’t seen the contents of that dead corner in well over a dozen years now! One of the ideas that has been going around Europe in recent years is to put a stove in that corner, and Alpes Inox has now gone this concept one better with their corner stovetops.
The line of cooktops (because we just show two of an entire line) Alpes Inox has created pretty much covers the gauntlet of possible configurations for that inefficient corner space, but all of their ideas have this in common. They make the absolute most of a corner that is often not much good for anything, or, as it is in my kitchen, exceedingly awkward. The entire series is made of stainless steel and is available in a wide range of stove and sink configurations to increase the usable kitchen space with style and simplicity. Shown here are the 50/82 1V1B4G (on the left of the photo) which comes with one bowl, one small sink basin and four gas burners and the 5082/6G (on the right of the photo) which features six gas burners. They also have these units available with basket, drainer and chopping-board accessories. And if you’re one of those who wants an indoor barbecue, by gosh they can accommodate that too, with grill, lava rock, general support frame and pan holders.
If you want it, chances are, they’ve got it because they are limited only by their imagination, which is to say, not limited at all. Kind of like Rocky Balboa.
