“Imagine”
I think what most fascinates me about imagination is that it even exists, if that doesn’t sound too bizarre. I like to think I come up with a good idea every now and again, but I am forever coming across ideas that I am quite certain I couldn’t have developed had I been presented with the problem and given the rest of my life to solve it. A case in point is the subject of today’s blog, Karol’s System Bathroom Designs.
One of the things every woman learns is that one size does NOT fit all, but for some strange reason, we tend to think that bathroom designs are fairly mobile, in that whatever works for one will work for others too. And that is true-and not true. Sometimes what a body really wants is an extra wall in a particular place, just a partial wall, mind you, but try to get it, if that’s what you want. And with that we have set forth the thinking behind Karol’s System Bathroom Designs.
Karol has come up with an evolutionary design that might better be described as a revolution, because it sets us free. With the mobile panels that make up the collection, it is now possible to create all kinds of different environments in the same room, freeing one to incorporate the bathroom into the master bedroom, while still, as my mother would have put it, maintaining the proprieties. There are certain bathroom functions that must forever be apart, and there is also the issue of water splashing about. But if it were possible to have one of those walk-in bathrooms that seems to flow, that might well be just the ticket.
And that brings us back to the panels that are at the heart of Karol’s System Bathroom Designs. The panels are made of water-repellent materials and are strong enough to take on load-bearing functions, but they are also light and easy to install. The System walls can be used as shower walls or even as simple walls to delineate the bathroom zone and insure intimacy when needed. And the other cool factor is that the System can be used with Karol’s many bathroom designs, and as Karol is one of the leading Italian designers, that’s a lot of designs and a lot of innovation.
The other thing that should be pointed out is the complete freedom such a design concept brings to the consumer. You can do as much or as little with it as you wish. You can have the sink and counter at one end of the bedroom, or separate these from the bathroom proper or, with a judicious use of the System Panels, divide a single large room into bedroom and adjoining bath that is in one room, but still, somehow, maintains every sort of privacy. With something like this you really can create anything you can imagine. It’s easy if you try.

You’re right there is something about imagination which is just fascinating. My work has though nothing to do with imagination. As being synesthete I live a life in colors. Synesthesia means that I see colors when I see words and numbers.I transform this in paintings of names and birthdays.
