Jenn Air Wall Ovens With Glass Touch Screen

“Oven Lovin”
Having just last week written about the remodeling of a 36 square foot kitchen, I am almost ashamed to complain about the size of my own kitchen, but even so, ours is not large, and because it is not large it means that the wall ovens we’re featuring today could not be used in our kitchen. We have room only for a freestanding stove, but for those with the room for it, there is no denying that the way to go with a kitchen layout is to have the ovens in a different place. Ideally, one should have a wonderful cooktop of some type and then, waltzing across a ballroom-sized kitchen, access the double oven stack which has been installed at the proper height.
That’s another problem one has with an oven in a stove, which is the way I grew up, really. In fact, in all my life, I have never owned a home with a separate oven stack, but, as I say, for those with the room for it, it is definitely the way to go. And by putting it at the proper height, it means that one does not have to bend from the waist and remove a heavy hot pan from an oven, one that is typically filled to the brim with hot grease that is pretty much just sitting there waiting for a false move on your part so it can scald the bejabbers out of you. Installing the ovens in the wall at the proper height completely removes that problem, and even if it doesn’t seem like a problem now, trust me, it will be. None of us grow younger as the years pass.
So, with that as preface, we can turn to the subject of today’s blog. Jenn-Air is a company with a wonderful reputation that they have done much to earn with the quality of their products. And the oven we’re featuring here surely does much to enhance that reputation. Not only do they claim the best performance in the industry for their latest offering, but they’ve included a number of other exclusive features that are certainly worthy of a mention, including the only touch screen control with an image-enabled cooking guide. Their new line of high end wall ovens is able to promise greater precision and consistency, and it does these things in a much more user-friendly manner.
More and more these days, the new item, whatever it may be, is now capable of doing a dozen or more things I don’t particularly care to do with it, and to master these largely unwanted features-and the ones I actually had in mind when I made the purchase-one must wade through an owner’s manual the size of a good collegiate dictionary. I bring that up because Jenn-Air has certainly taken that trend in a different direction. Yes, they have more whistles and bells; no, you do not have to repeat your sophomore year in high school to understand them!
The 7-inch, glass-touch screen is the largest of its kind, which eyes as old as mine certainly welcomes. And there’s more. Jenn-Air has developed an interactive, menu-driven Culinary Center that actually helps a body to achieve the desired cooking results by considering a range of details such as the food category, food type, desired doneness and even the type of pan used. Imagine that! Even the type of pan is taken into consideration! And for those who are total rookies when it comes to cooking, they’ve even included color images to show how the product looks when it’s done to a certain level. And if you need help inserting the temperature probe in a variety of different dishes, well, by gosh, they’ve got that covered too! And because Going Green is becoming more and more important these days, Jenn-Air has developed a No Preheat feature for cooking many dishes. Man, ya gotta love an oven with that many features!
