Those of you who watch HGTV know KBIS as the biggest show of its type. There are some 585 exhibitors, and there is just no way that we could see them all and do them justice. But starting next week, and for some time to come, Joe and I will be writing about what we have discovered at KBIS.

Alpina has added another facet to their company, namely, outdoor space gas heaters. They have remote controls and would look wonderful on any patio or outdoor space, either residential or commercial. The Light Fire heater takes this one step further by providing a LED light in its lower base.

Something like the Iglu “Apple” wicker daybed by Skyline Design would be just the place for kids and adults to snuggle into with their favorite books. Or, if the day lends itself to such things, the top can be removed to let the sunshine in.

Metalco is a northern Italian company that has done wonderful things with stainless steel and exotic woods. What I like about the wood part is that it is used more for a decorative element and looks as though it could easily be removed, thereby allowing one to safely store it in the winter months.
