I was recently introduced Dwyer Kitchens, which has a surprisingly large line of compact kitchens. I say surprising because I was frankly surprised with the depth of their offerings. A guy like me would probably have been content with one or two offerings in this field. Not Dwyer!

Ukinox has a lineup of sinks that just boggles the mind, but, really, that’s all to the good. One size does not fit all, which is why, more and more these days, any manufacturer with a brain that works is going to make his products available in a veritable cornucopia of styles and sizes.

“Kelly’s Kitchen Sync” has no color pictures of “dream kitchens” or color pictures at all, for that matter, because it was never intended to be that kind of read. I have an entire shelf devoted to that kind of book, and very few of them are of any value. It’s because they speak in generalities.

I wrote on Omvivo several years ago, and at that time couldn’t help commenting that design was much more a state of mind then a place, which it surely is. People who design-and people who only write about design-are forever concerned with the latest creations from Italy, but Omvivo is Australian.
