I recently came across the very type of company I most wish I had commissioned for my own yard, although their business is actually on the other side of the continent. Ann Johnson Design is in Georgia, and is surely one of the reasons that state is so achingly beautiful in the early spring.

These bathroom designs from aLegna would probably do better in a larger bathroom, and especially this is true of their bathtubs, but all of their products, for bathrooms both large and small, are of wood, which is something that always gets this old woodworker’s heart to pumping pretty fast.

What I like about the bathroom designs coming out of Italy is, well, everything pretty much. The design at the top of this blog is what first caught my eye about Lasaidea, but as I toured their website I found myself being once again overwhelmed with the enormous variety of Italian design.

What I especially like about the products from Alpha Custom Rugs is the wide range of uses for them and the luxuriousness of the product itself. Others have commented on the “extreme softness” of the finished product and described them as “touch-worthy creations.”
