Jane Devin is the damnedest writer I have read in some time and the best blogger ever. She also has a courage I lack; she writes about what she went through. There are things I have experienced of which I can never speak, things I have seen that I cannot share-and all of them carefully buried.

Design something new, something different, something you’re not sure anyone could ever actually build, and suddenly there is a passion running through your veins quite unlike any other. Surely, those at Advance Design who designed the subject of today’s blog must have had experiences just like that.

Last year on Labor Day I elected to take a break from the usual fare of kitchens and baths and comment on a day that is becoming increasingly important to me. Today I would like to continue the tradition.
