Arrex is a company that makes both kinds of kitchens: the cutting edge minimalist designs, and the more traditional. The reason, of course, is simple. One size does not fit all; neither does one concept for kitchen design, however brilliant, suit every taste.

Cane Line is a Danish company that was founded in 1986 and has grown steadily up to the present where they are now among the leading European suppliers of maintenance-free garden furniture. The other cool thing is that they’re available in some sixty countries on six continents, including ours.

The sink at the top of this blog is made of brass, but they also make their sinks available in copper and stainless steel. Restart is well-named because they have done much to recycle and reintroduce ancient motifs, from the towel bars to the faucets to the sinks, which very much evoke days of yore.

What I find fascinating about this kind of design is the endless variety of it. Those who do this kind of work must be some of the most creative people on earth, because they can constantly work with the familiar and somehow make it their own. Our case in point is Antonio Lupi bathroom designs.
