In keeping with its name Fama has given My Apple a unique apple-inspired shape, which allows, as you can see from some of these pictures, all kinds of lounging positions for one or more! Really, it’s the kind of seat that wants nothing more than to be used by lovers for hours at a time.

This is a desk that was designed and built by a young man named Eric Ritter, who’s been at this woodworking just since 1995, which is a surprisingly short time, given both the quality and innovation of his work.

Last week I told you about an exciting project from Craig Thibodeau in a blog entitled, “Sometimes a Great Notion.” It’s a glorious freestanding headboard that calls for a lot of marquetry work. This week I would like to tell you how Craig made it.

If you know the right woodworkers, though, much of the battle has been done, and in this case, the client knew Craig Thibodeau. I’ve written about Craig before in these blogs; in fact he was one of my first subjects in 2008 when Joe Dusel and I were getting this blog site off the ground.
