Schulte Design Fire Furniture

Some time back I did a blog on Schulte Design which is a German manufacturer of a European style kitchen that intrigued me quite a bit. One of the things I found particularly interesting was the way they hid the stovetop in a table and did it in such a way that it simply disappeared. Well, as it happened, they also had a similar idea for a coffee table, except that this particular coffee table hid a fireplace.

Given the number of blogs I have written on kitchens and bathrooms, this may seem a strange place for a blog on fireplaces, but what I try to do is write about things that are both interesting and useful, and Miles Industries’ fireplaces certainly qualifies for that. And it is something that I know from my own experiences is a product that will find a use in almost any home.
