ThinkGlass was recently the Top Pick at the Architectural Digest Home Design Show, but to me that’s like saying Babe Ruth could hit some. Guess so! They have done things with glass that I didn’t think anyone could do, and not only done these things, but done them with an incredible verve.

What they have done with this product is symptomatic of what they do with all of their products. I don’t know if you’re tired of cheap, shoddy merchandise designed for instant obsolescence, but I am! ClassiCon, by contrast, subscribes to the philosophy that “true quality stands the test of time.”

One of the companies I most wanted to visit when we attended KBIS 2011 at the end of April was ThinkGlass, because what those folks are producing these days is such a breath of fresh air.

Joel Berman Glass Studios is one of North America’s premiere design and manufacturing firms working in architectural glass. Installations of their work can be found in New York City’s Chrysler Building, The Gap World Headquarters in San Francisco, and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge in Orlando.
