How a kitchen is lit makes a difference. There are task lights, mood lights, focus lights, and so on. Apart from the utility of the lighting there is also the aesthetics of it. The proper lighting can add so much to a kitchen design, and that’s what I found so stimulating about Lowery’s Hot Glass.

UltraGlas is most definitely on the cutting edge when it comes to glass designs. Gees, that seems so bland; perhaps we should describe what they do as glass glories. What I find fascinating about these designs, though, is that so many of them can be used for both commercial and residential uses.

Renato Foti has a full range of products in glass, but what particularly caught my eye was his creations for lighting, specifically sconces and entry lights.

I have several times argued that those who make practical items for the home are artists, not artisans, and I am prepared to make that argument again. Actually, the Coyote Glass Design company—with their innovative bathroom designs—is doing their very best to make my argument for me.
