Digifire is a European company making all kinds of fireplaces, from ones that actually can be moved from room to room like a portable TV to those that, though they’re permanent installations, yet have the capability of simply being placed wherever one wants them to be.

One of the things I most like about design is. design! I like to see things that are different, and I especially like seeing things that I couldn’t come up with in a million years, but things that, nevertheless, actually work.

Caminetti Montegrappa is an Italian company that makes several lines of wood-burning stoves and fireplaces, all of which have wonderful lines, but they have really outdone themselves with their fireplaces.

I don’t think there’s anything that brings more to a home than a fireplace, and Arkiane is doing some of the most extraordinary work imaginable in this field.
