Looking at it, one is not at all sure if the kitchen was designed and then the room was built around it, or if the room was always there, and a kitchen designer—Mr. Holman—exploited the space with his glorious kitchen design.

Enter the Essenza Rapsody Lux Compact Kitchen from TM Italia, another Italian manufacturer, as the name surely indicates. Actually, this particular kitchen design is well-named.

One of the more extraordinary kitchen designs I ever encountered is at the top of this blog. It is one of many kitchens by Johnny Grey, a British kitchen designer who has been around some twenty-five years, more than enough time for someone like myself to have heard of him, but I blush to admit that it is just recently that I came across his work.

I like these kitchen designs because they are sleek, they are clean, they are modern; they are the antithesis of all that has gone before, all that clumps and clonks and does little at all to advance the art of kitchen design.
