Wet’s Shadow Table is a pair of stepped sinks cut out of a rather substantial marble base, and the first thing you notice about the piece is that it really should have that sort of moniker, as opposed to simply calling it a double sink. “Piece,” as in “piece of fine art” really suits it better.

Plastic laminate is an alternative countertop product that gets my vote. Even if you don’t install it yourself, the cost savings is substantial. The question, though, is will it look beautiful or just cheap? And that is what so excited me about Karran Edge Sinks when I saw them at KBIS.

These bathroom designs from aLegna would probably do better in a larger bathroom, and especially this is true of their bathtubs, but all of their products, for bathrooms both large and small, are of wood, which is something that always gets this old woodworker’s heart to pumping pretty fast.
